By making a booking with Vocal Evolution, you hereby agree to the following:
1. 24-HOUR CANCELLATION and RESCHEDULING POLICY
By default, private lessons not cancelled or rescheduled a minimum of 24 hours before the start time will be charged at full rate.
Bookings may be officially cancelled via text/call, and have to be acknowledged to be valid.
As an act of goodwill, we may make exceptions in cases like emergencies or if you are feeling unwell, and offer make up lessons (make up, not makeup!).
2. BOOKINGS AND PREPAID LESSON FEES
- Confirmation of bookings will made once payment is received.
- Payment methods: Acuity Scheduling, PayNow, Bank Transfer, PayPal
- Validity dates: one-month for one-month packages, and 4 weeks for 4-week packages
- Hour lesson credits cannot be split into half-hours.
Lesson fees paid in advance are always redeemable (before their expiry date) but not refundable or transferable. All sales are final.
If a prepaid lesson is “early” cancelled before the 24-hour cancellation deadline, a lesson credit will be issued to the client that may be applied to a future booking, so long as it is used up before its expiry date (see above). This also applies if the instructor needs to reschedule the lesson. The lesson will be rescheduled, but never refunded.
There will be no refunds made for all purchases of private lessons, group lessons and gift certificates.
If you arrive late, your lesson will still end at the scheduled time by default. This loss of time will not be made up at another time.
If you arrive on time but the previous lesson runs late, you will be given your full-allotted time. (Sorry, I call the shots! 😅)
5. TRANSITION TIME
All teaching time ends 5 minutes before the end of the session to allow for transition time between clients. (You would prefer that the previous lesson ends on time so that you can start on time, right?)
Hence, 30-min lessons will end at the 25-min mark, and 1-hour lessons will end at the 55-min mark.
5. HOLIDAY LESSONS ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED
Prior notice will be given when we are closed due to a holiday or special event. Otherwise, please assume that lessons are scheduled as usual.
If you wish to move or cancel your lesson due to a holiday, please see the 48-Hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy above.
6. REGULAR RECURRING LESSONS
Regular recurring lesson time slots will repeat every week or every other week on the same day and time until the student asks to discontinue the time slot. Cancelling one or several lessons means only those lessons are cancelled, and the regular lesson schedule will continue automatically after.
The student is responsible to pay for and attend all lessons not cancelled or rescheduled before the 24-hour deadline.
The main purposes for which your personal data is collected, used or disclosed by Vocal Evolution include providing you with our products and services, managing your subscriptions, renewals and your account, processing payments, improving our products and services, as well as sending you marketing and promotional offers on products and services, and personalized content and advertising based on your preferences or demographics.
8. CONTENT CREATION and PUBLISHING
We may publish content (photos, audio, and videos) taken during lessons online (e.g. social media platforms) occasionally, so if you're shy or working as a secret agent, request to opt-out.
9. ENROLLMENT CRITERIA
We reserve the right to not accept any client/student bookings at our personal discretion and are not obliged to provide reasons for exercising that right.
